Basic Approach
-      First see the Syllabus of English in SSC notification, and divide it into topics, and try to practice one topic a day. Please don’t try to do topic of another chapter before completing a particular chapter.
-      Do not try to learn English, Try to understand Grammar Concepts, Learn all the basic phrasal Verbs, learn conceptual clarity and try to understand variety of questions of each topic / chapter.
-      Kindly give one to two hours daily to the English Section.
-      In last 30 days try to solve one mock Test Paper on daily basis. Some Practice Papers are available at Website Practice Paper Section. Suggested Book for SSC Tier II English Practice Paper is Paramount Tier II English Papers.
-      Please do not live in overconfidence that “SSC is a “pappu” exam and I’m a master of English. so I don’t need to prepare anything for vocabulary or grammar.“
-      If you observe the previous SSC papers particularly the tier-II papers of English, the vocabulary portion is not “pappu” at times, they ask  meaning of words that are not used in the day to day English.
-      Similarly, a lot of things that we say and write in English in our day-to-day life, are not grammatically correct. So you may not be able to tick the right choice in sentence correct/ improvement question.
- For last time revision best book is Plinth to Paramount written by Ms. Neetu Singh in lucid language. It comprise most of the syllabus in a book.
-      Purchase a pocket diary. Keep it always with yourself.

Vocabulary Section Approach

One book on Synonyms & antonyms written by Dr. Ashok Kumar Singh is also very helpful but hardly available at any bookstore or online. -   Daily write 05 synonyms, 05 antonyms, 05 Idioms & 05 Substitution  from these books in your pocket diary and whenever you have free time then start read / learn / understand these words (free time like waiting at bus stop / restaurant for someone near & dear one, during lunch / dinner, also use these words to people during the time of chatting at whatsapp / fb etc.

Others Section Approach
Reading Comprehension & Sentence Arrangement are easiest topics among all. One can score 100 % in these Section. But as these sections are easy so aspirants generally ignores these section. In comprehension, candidates whose  English is weak, they must first read the whole passage try to understand its meaning in Hindi or English or your native language then solve the question on the basis of that passage. If your English is good then first read the question than find out the answers from the passage & can save the time. But try to solve a passage on daily basis from any book. Suggested book for reading comprehension is Reading Comprehension by Ajay Singh.
